According to the CDC, “there exists no evidence that viruses can be spread through recreational water.” Our water is cleaned through a vigorous filtration process including UV light and ozone. Additionally, the high concentration of salt in our tanks makes it virtually impossible for pathogens to survive. Our comprehensive filtration system and strictly adhered to disinfecting protocols, virtually assures the safety of our clientele and staff.

We’ve adopted all of the float, message, and infrared sauna industry standards and protocols for infection control to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.

Please review them and support our efforts to keep everyone healthy!

  • We are respecting safe distance by adhering to the 6′ rule
  • We have increased the time between floats by 60 minutes so staff can thoroughly sanitize float rooms using CDC and float industry standards and protocols.
  • Staff will wait 15 minutes after a person has left their float room to enter and sanitize.
  • Float rooms and pods are sprayed with 4% hydrogen peroxide. We are also going over high touch points with disinfectant wipes after spraying everything down.
  • As always, the float water is filtered 3 times through after each float, with the water passing through UV light and ozone. We also add 35% hydrogen peroxide to the water each day.
  •  Wiping down everything in the center with disinfectant wipes.
  • We are limiting the number of clients within our space.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at:

-The reception desk

-All restrooms

– All float rooms

 -All massage rooms

 -The sauna room

  • Our staff will be wearing masks at all times.
  • Our lobby and tea bar will be temporarily closed.

Additionally, we ask any customer who has experienced any of the following symptoms to refrain from visiting for the time being:

  • If you’ve had a fever within the last 72 hours.
  • If you feel sick or have been diagnosed with an infectious illness.
  • If you’ve had a recent cough or shortness of breath.
  • If you’ve been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID within the last 14 days.

What we ask of you:

  • Please wear a mask when entering the center and when traveling in common areas to your service or to the restroom.
  • Please make all transactions on-line or you may call us with your billing information.
  • We require all first time floaters to view our float orientation video before their visit in an effort to limit close face to face interaction. We also strongly encourage those who haven’t floated in a while to watch the video for reminders and tips.
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. Call us when you arrive and you’ll be invited in by one of our staff.
  • If you haven’t floated before or are floating in our new Quest room for the first time, please read this prior to your visit.

We ask that you stay mindful of  the 6′ safe-distance recommendation of the CDC.

In Peaceful Serenity,

The AquaFloat Team
